Captain Morgan Adventure, road to Mozambique, ho hoe hoe and a bottle of rum
Normally I do my best not to cecum to advertising, marketing and all the rest of the crap that comes along with living on earth (Im not saying I dont see myself as a Mens Health kind of guy, drinking windhoek light with a fetish for New Balance Trainer.). So lmaybe I am just as bad as everyone else, but at least I realise it.
With the Captain Morgan events I like to think I have an upper hand. Not drinking Captain Morgan during the course of a year, and then go to an all expenses paid weekend away rocks my boat.
This event was even better than the Xtreme Challenge we did last year in the fact that this was a little more hardcore, did not have big fat sharks supports bitching about having to exert themselfs and that the prize was a trip to Mozambique for the finals.
Let me stop here now and say that I will not bitch or go into to much detail about how stuffed up our points where. How we managed to do all 6 of the 5 events, find 21 out of the 24 of the 25 gps coordinates that had not been stolen or hidden.
The winners did look like a fit bunch of guys, ideal for the marketing material that will be produced and perfectly matching the Captain Morgan image.
The 6 events where pretty standard team building kind of things, abseiling, bridge building, river crossing etc. We rocked at all of these as you can imagine we would.
After the event we arrived in the Lapa for a little rara session, which got us started on the drinking. I had planned a little afternoon nap to prep myself properly for the evening but this got put on the back burner as we tried to drink as many beers as possible before being put on free Rum Ration.
Leon was the first to fall, one too many sparletta and captain morgan and he was in bed with a pillow tucked between his legs.
After supper (they catered very well for vegans + points for the girls from the agency), we ended up in a jacuzzi and rested our tired muscles before bad..
