When did we become posers? It must have been this year, cos I cant remember it being last year. After standing in a queue at tiger tiger for about 45 minutes, I soon got fedup of the throngs of preppy UCT guys that came up to flirt with my blonde date for the evening. Our local connections where already inside and not as connected as our old connections, so could not get us in. This left us with the option of using our £'s to pay for a VIP pass, commonly known as bribery. As it was a door bitch and I was feeling particularly cocky I went up to work my magic and flash the blue eyes and pink pounds. I was shot down with in moments of mentioning paying extra for VIP, apparently the VIP list was closed and she was a lesbian. |

We had a nice warm up at Alans pub Monacos, in a dodgy end of wynberg. Then off to tiger tiger to get there as the doors opened. Pity the free drinks special was over we had to make do with two for one specials. Johan was a wingman of note and we managed to get onto a table of two 5th year UCT medical students (a two set for those familiar with the game). We didnt do so well though. Later the better looking burnette with short hair came up to me and told me I was an arrogant bastard. These medical students are damn good! Terence and Waleed had not been out for a little while, so took advantage of the club. There where a million little girls from a hen party who seemed to intrigue Terence. Every time I saw him he had one of them up in the ear or whispering something to them. Parking has gone up to R10 now, as I found out to my horror when I tried to leave with only R6 left in my wallet. |

This was great, except the fact that we were the only ones who knew it was a back to school party. Weird? Cat gets a SMS so we all dress up skanky but when we arrive no one is dressed up and even the bar staff havent got a clue what we are one about. There where a very cool band, scarlet system I think there where called playing. Green Day cover songs and stuff which was cool, moshing in a school uniform thinking Im in a ACDC video. The girls were looking very skanky, I must say makes me wonder why I didnt pay more attention to girls while I was at school. |

Nice mellow evening for cat 21st. Met up at Billy's for a few quick cocktails then off to springbok to pick up females. Even I managed to get a phone number. Laurence 1 - Rick 0 ha! Not that my number replies to my sms's all good practise I spos. |
