Normally I do my best not to cecum to advertising, marketing and all the rest of the crap that comes along with living on earth (Im not saying I dont see myself as a Mens Health kind of guy, drinking windhoek light with a fetish for New Balance Trainer.). So lmaybe I am just as bad as everyone else, but at least I realise it. With the Captain Morgan events I like to think I have an upper hand. Not drinking Captain Morgan during the course of a year, and then go to an all expenses paid weekend away rocks my boat. This event was even better than the Xtreme Challenge we did last year in the fact that this was a little more hardcore, did not have big fat sharks supports bitching about having to exert themselfs and that the prize was a trip to Mozambique for the finals. |

This was our first adventure race in about two years. The last one we did we totally enjoyed and always meant to do another one. But alas far more glamorous events always caught our eye and we ended up doing the Argus, Gun run and Energade events of the world.
This Saturday we where back in action , team "dont eat my crazy shiny purple papaya". We did not exactly kick ass, and I totally sucked on the bike. It was a hell of a lot of fun though, we got muddy and wet. Great organisation by Quantum Adventures. Hopefully we will do the event on the 27th on Jan 2009.
