hangover

We are into the new year, Im still at the office not having taken any leave, the workers are making there way back after there break smelling of there new xmas perfumes and smellies.
Writing a top 10 or even top five for 2008 would be too much pressure and immortalizing them on the internet would only lead to tears if I do not crack them. I am day dreaming about the year ahead though and trying to book the otter trail (If your keen let me know).
New Year started in a good way, Mrs G had a blinding hangover from the night before. So we got to enjoy that together, she has entered into a Dry January bet with me. No alcohol for the month of January for her, easy money I reckon as we are going to Tiger Tiger tonight (If your keen let me know).

When you are triple booked for a Saturday night you know its going to be a busy weekend. With this in mind, we approached friday with caution, this soon faded as G man pointed out that I was 2 beers behind him. To catch up I downed my beer and a shot of vodka (training for my russian expedition). This some what blurred my sense of caution and I woke up saturday morning in bed with too many clothes on and my ipod headphones blasting away tangled around me neck.
So with a nasty hangover and dreams of a chubby deon laughy at a crazy german from the night before. Leon and I head off to bayside for camera shopping (also for my european expedition). This turned at easier than I had thought and cheaper, I am now the proud owner of a nikon L3. Cheap cheerful, small and a nikon meeting all my criteria. So cheap it is also disposable, which looking at the demise of all previous cameras (and more recently phones) is a good thing.
We woke up feeling very very rough, receipts from our excessive pizza evening laying all over the flat. This was not exactly the way I had pictured our first monday night!

Leon who had missed out last night, woke up bright and perky. Organised Greg to buy us all the bacon and eggs we needed to cook up a breakfast that fitted our hangovers.

Then off to Gold Reef City to be the tourists that we are.
